(Massimo Vignelli) Three principles shape the work: **Timeless design.** What we value most is design that doesn't follow trends. We are convinced that design is universal: the same thought process shapes a chair, a house or a logo. That's why we work in an interdisciplinary way across all boundaries. Our strength lies in grasping the essentials, getting to the heart of things and then breaking new ground to realize them. **Reverse branding.** For us, branding is an in-depth process that begins with finding an identity and does not follow a prefabricated template. In contrast to the usual approach of creating the brand in a brainstorming session, we look for the identity that already exists. By listening and feeling our way in, we uncover the core of a brand without bending it or putting on a mask. The result is an inner clarity about who you are, who you are for, and what suits you and what does not. **Paper art.** We see packaging not as a canvas on which to print the latest graphics, but as a functional design object and the most important point of contact with the brand. Invisible product characteristics become tangible through feel, material and form. We develop our own prototypes on site as well as small series for the high-end segment. ## Workshop – Thinking with your hand We think with our hands and create prototypes of our ideas directly in-house in our own workshop. The old machines open up design and production paths that would be impossible without them; we combine old and new to find the right form. Analog / manual equipment: Karl Krause hot embossing press / die cutter (up to 33 × 47 cm); platen letterpress (paper up to 35 × 60 cm); Karl Krause stack cutters (up to 70 × 100 cm); board shears; creasing and grooving machines for paper and cardboard; paper drill; eyeletting machines; corner and slitting machines; Brehmer stitching machines; gluing machines; book planer and book press; small embossing press for paper, cardboard, leather, textile and sheet metal. Digital equipment: flatbed cutting plotter (up to 100 × 210 cm, materials up to 10 mm); CNC flatbed milling machine (up to 125 × 250 cm, materials up to 150 mm); foil cutting plotter; 3D printer (hotend up to 420 °C for PEEK); digital printing with white ink and varnish; large-format plotter for paper, foil, cardboard, leather, wood, metal and plastic. ## Projects ### Getzner Textil – Performance textiles, reimagined https://www.kvint.com/projekte/getzner-textile-branding Disciplines: branding, architecture, packaging design, photography Getzner is a global textile manufacturer known for high-quality fabrics and one of the last companies to manufacture entirely in Europe. Kvint developed a modern visual language for the technical textiles division and redesigned the entire trade show booth from the ground up – architecture, furnishings and structural design – culminating in a reimagined presentation system with hangers, labels and icons. Since the fabrics were only available as raw materials, generative AI was used to visualize the collection as finished garments. As a counterpoint to the masculine visual language typical of technical textiles, a feminine, fashion-forward direction was chosen; the box-style display system organizes and protects the pattern lines while keeping all product information visible. ### Wiener Seife – Manufacture in the modern age https://www.kvint.com/projekte/wiener-seife Disciplines: architecture, branding, shop design Kvint designed two shops in Vienna for the soap manufactory Wiener Seife, planning every detail from window formats to furniture. The concept was first developed for the store in Hintzerstraße (also the company's headquarters) and then adapted for a very small space in a prime location in Herrengasse. 3D renderings conveyed the concept emotionally in advance. ### Wiener Seife – Ingredients https://www.kvint.com/projekte/wiener-seife-emobilder Disciplines: photography Emotional product and still-life photography staging the natural soap ingredients, including laurel, mint and lemongrass. ### g-tec – unicorn brainwave tracker https://www.kvint.com/projekte/g-tec-unicorn Disciplines: branding, packaging design Branding and packaging design for "unicorn", a consumer EEG brainwave tracker by the Austrian medical technology company g-tec. ### dfine. – Sample collection as brand ambassador https://www.kvint.com/projekte/dfine-kollektion Disciplines: packaging design Design of the fabric sample collection for the textile brand dfine – the sample collection conceived as the brand's most important ambassador. ### dfine. – Redefining modern fabrics https://www.kvint.com/projekte/dfine Disciplines: branding, digital, photography Brand identity, digital presence and photography for dfine, a brand for modern fabrics. ### nella nicchia – Wine label & illustration https://www.kvint.com/projekte/weinlabel-fur-nella-nicchia Disciplines: illustration, packaging design Wine label design with custom illustration for nella nicchia. ### giulietta – Italy from Lucerne https://www.kvint.com/projekte/giulietta Disciplines: branding, packaging design Branding and packaging design for giulietta, an Italian food brand from Lucerne, Switzerland. ### Zuckerpeitsche – Redesign of the brand https://www.kvint.com/projekte/zuckerpeitsche Disciplines: packaging design, branding Heritage syrup in a new guise: the Swiss syrup manufactory Zuckerpeitsche in Lucerne had an unusual design that was not reaching the desired target group.
